Current world No. 3 Casper Ruud made his prediction of the finalists for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Norwegian athlete had a great season, winning 3 titles and finishing runner-up in two Grand Slams. He also finished runner-up at the ATP Finals.
The 2022 US Open finalist recently went on an exhibition tour with Rafael Nadal and played across six South American countries. Casper Ruud played Nadal in five matches and managed to win one of them while losing four. He wouldn’t be too perturbed though and hope to iron out the kinks prior to the new season.
The 23-year-old is an avid football fan and is watching the action at the FIFA World Cup with keen eyes. He was also seen showing some intricate football skills alongside Nadal while on the exhibition tour. Ruud took to Twitter and named his picks for the finals of the biggest showdown in football. He predicted a Portugal versus Argentina final.
“Portugal vs Argentina for the final🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻”
