Coco Gauff is one of the brightest talents in the women’s game. She paid tribute to legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri after his passing away on December 4, 2022.
Nick Bollettieri coached 10 world No. 1s during his career. He recently breathed his last at the age of 91. Tennis legends have sent in their heartfelt tributes to the American coach who pioneered the concept of tennis boarding school.
Bollettieri’s contribution to tennis will always be remembered as he guided the likes of Maria Sharapova, Andre Agassi, Venus and Serena Williams, and many others en route to greatness. These players have entertained us for numerous years with their skills on the court. Bollettieri deserves a lot of plaudit for giving them a platform and being their guiding light.
The tennis world is mourning the loss of the New York-born coach and American teenage sensation, Coco Gauff, has also sent her gratitude and paid homage. The 2022 French Open finalist took to Twitter and wrote:

Bollettieri was inducted into the prestigious Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014. The decision to induct him into the hall of fame was immensely praised by the tennis fraternity.
