Daniil Medvedev is currently playing in the Cincinnati Masters where he will face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semifinal on Sunday.
The Russian tennis pro is one of the best players in the world at the moment. Daniil Medvedev won his first Grand Slam title at the US Open last year. In 2022, he managed to reach the Australian Open final but lost to the legendary Rafael Nadal in an intriguing affair. World No. 1 Medvedev reached the final of the Libema Open but suffered an upset defeat against Tim van Rijthoven. At the Halle Open, he once again reached the final before losing to Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets.
Medvedev finally crossed the final hurdle at Los Cabos Open and lifted his first title in 2022. He defeated Cameron Norrie in straight sets.

Daniil Medvedev turned pro in 2014 and had to wait for four years before winning his first ATP title.
Medvedev started the 2018 season on a great note winning the Sydney International. He defeated Australian Alex de Minaur in what was the tournament’s youngest final since 1989.
Since then, Medvedev has gone on to win 13 more titles and is currently the top-ranked player in the world. He will be entering the US Open as the defending champion. The last Grand Slam of the year begins on August 29.
