Fans react to Kasatkina’s dominating victory at Roland Garros

Tennis fans and followers are particularly impressed by Darks Kasatkina’s display against Camila Giorgi. They were quick to share their reactions on Twitter after the match.

“Nice to see her dealing with big hitters so well, too (even on clay). Have been her kryptonite these past few years – and won’t get easier with Keys or Kudermetova waiting”, wrote a fan. We now know that Kasatkina will face Kudermetova in the quarters.

A particularly impressed Kasatkina fan backed her to go all the way – “Daria has been a favorite of mine for years. Makes it all look so simple, when she’s relaxed & confident. Plays a no nonsense no time wasting controlled hitting style of game. She’s a former RG junior champ & would make a worthy champ in ‘22. Go Daria!”

A fan, over-whelmed with Kasatkina’s game, wrote – “Daria Kasatkina = tennis for the soul.”

“She has a classic, old-school game. All-court, consistent, smooth, and smart. Her serve is average. Daria has not yet shown an ability to handle the big moments in important, late-stage tournament matches”, wrote a fan who wants to see Kasatkina perform more in crucial matches before coming to a conclusion.
