ATP Tour suspending season for 6 weeks. Can’t think they will start back up in Madrid and Rome and then into Paris…??? Maybe hiatus through the clay season? Unprecedented times

Leaving LA to head back home for a while. These are weird times and we have no idea what to expect next. I hope you are all staying safe!! I’m thinking of course a lot of all those in our world who have put months of work into events that are now cancelled & to the fans who were pic.twitter.com/VUTRKWRpql

World No.14 and Argentine tennis star Diego Schwartzman took to Twitter in Spanish saying “la más sabia decisión en estos días” which translates to “the wisest decision these days” in English.
Australian tennis star John Millman posted a tweet on a rather lighter note. His tweet in response to ATP’s suspension of upcoming tours read: “Looking for work…”.
The tennis schedule will bear the brunt of the coronavirus. Hopefully, things settle down quickly and the players can get back to action soon.
The US has also introduced a travel ban from Europe. Several leagues have also been temporarily suspended.
The last-minute cancellations do hurt the fans and players, but the safety of all has to be the main concern.
