Emma Raducanu was born in Canada to a Romanian father and Chinese mother and raised in England. She idolizes Simona Halep and Li Na, former Grand Slam champions, and has attributed her ethics and mentality to her professional role models. The British teenager is currently in the U.S.A, all set to begin her campaign at the Indian Wells Masters.

The media frenzy surrounding the Brit and the public interest has resulted in Raducanu gaining several high-profile endorsements such as luxury brands Tiffany and Dior with Evian being her latest one. She has become one of the highest-paid athletes in a very short period.

In 2022, the teenager has played 3 tournaments so far with no notable performances. She started the year with the Sydney International where she lost in the first round itself to Elena Rybakina.
