Nadal and Ruud travelled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to begin their exhibition tour of South America. They played several matches across six different venues. The veteran won four out of the five matches he played against Ruud and entertained the fans who gave the players a great ovation whenever they stepped onto the court.
During Nadal’s last match against Ruud at the Plaza de Toros in Mexico City, the southpaw played an intriguing fake smash that caught the Norwegian youngster off guard. The incident happened in the second point of the sixth game in the second set. The unique shot can be seen below in the video.
