Many star players participated in the inaugural edition of the World Tennis League. Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka were part of the team Falcons.

The Falcons also had Grigor Dimitrov and the legendary Novak Djokovic in their ranks. They ended the four-team exhibition tournament in the last position winning a total of 81 games. However, the team provided plenty of entertainment during the tournament.

Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka played both singles and mixed doubles matches in the tournament. In a recent picture that has surfaced on the internet, Badosa and Sabalenka were seated on their team bench alongside Dimitrov. The Spaniard was playfully showing her two middle fingers as Sabalenka looked in a state of euphoric shock. Dimitrov, on the other hand, was rather stoic beside the two badass athletes.
