Gauff and Pegula’s form coming into this match
The all-America pairing of Gauff and Pegula have been in sublime touch at the Roland Garros. The pair have lost just one set so far in their campaign. They are seeded eighth in the tournament and have certainly exceeded expectations.

In the quarter-finals, Garcia and Mladenovic defeated the 13th seeded pairing from China Xu/Yang in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. The 2016 champions then defeated 14th seeds Ostapenko/Kichenok in the semi-finals to qualify to the final.

Head to head and Predictions
The pairing of Gauff and Pegula are seeking a first Grand Slam doubles title while Garcia and Mladenovic were crowned champions back in 2016. On paper, the Gauff and Pegula are favourites as the superior seed but a lot of factors are in play in this encounter.
Garcia and Mladenovic are miles ahead in terms of experience as a pair and on top of that, Gauff is expected to play a high-voltage women’s singles final, the evening before. Will she be able to give her best in both the finals within 24 hours? That’s a big factor which could decide the fate of the women’s doubles final.
We are predicting a win in three sets for Garcia and Mladenovic.
