Former tennis star believes time is up for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Former tennis star Greg Rusedski has insisted that it is going to be very difficult for legendary duo Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to win more Grand Slams in future as the younger generation is ready to make life difficult for them.

Federer and Nadal both have 20 Grand Slams along with World No. 1 Novak Djokovic.

Keeping in mind the last few years – it’s a no-brainer to give advantage to Serb regarding who will end up with more number of Grand Slams by the time the Big Three decides to call it a day.

The Swiss and Spanish stars have been suffering from injuries off late while Djoker is getting better day by day and fitness has never been an issue with him. Talking to Express Sport, Rusedski warned Federer and Nadal by saying apart from Djokovic young tennis stars like Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas are also their threat.

Federer has had three knee surgeries in last couple of years.

“You’re talking about the younger generation, they’re here now. I mean, out of the Big Three it’s really the Big One left which is Novak who doesn’t seem to be going anywhere quite yet.
