Novak Djokovic’s son was spotted wearing a Daniil Medvedev edition Lacoste jogger set – here’s everything you need to know about it
Novak Djokovic’s son Stefan Djokovic’s outfit during the family photo session after the Roland Garros final has sparked a lot of interest on the internet. Young Stefan was spotted wearing a special edition Lacoste X Daniil Medvedev jogger set and the pictures have gone viral on social media. Interestingly, Lacoste also happens to be Djokovic’s apparel sponsor and fans wonder what makes Stefan wear a Medvedev jogger set?
Stefan was wearing a jacket that has the Medvedev logo on it and he was also spotted in the shoes that Medvedev plays in. Djokovic had earlier revealed that Stefan is a huge fan of Rafael Nadal but the young boy might have recently switched allegiance to Medvedev. Either way, it shouldn’t be a huge issue as both Djokovic and Medvedev are part of the Lacoste family. The exclusive Medvedev jogger set that Stefan was wearing costs close to 150 pounds.
Lacoste has launched a special edition ’23’ merchandise for Novak Djokovic
Lacoste’s limited edition ’23’ shirt for Novak Djokovic was one of the most talked about topics on social media following the Serbian’s Roland Garros victory. Djokovic was sporting this exclusive tee during the prize-giving ceremony following the French Open final.
Lacoste has been Djokovic’s apparel sponsor for a long period of time now and they are known for coming up with specially customised shirts for the Serbian after every Grand Slam victory. They came up with a ’22’ shirt earlier in January after Djokovic won the Australian and they might have to come up with a ’24’ shirt in a month’s time following the conclusion of Wimbledon.
Djokovic signed for the French company as Brand Ambassador in 2017 and his current contract runs till 2025. The brand was founded by a Tennis legend, Rene Lacoste and Djokovic certainly serves as the brand’s most recognizable personality till date.
As a part of their deal, Lacoste launches annual Lacoste x Novak Djokovic collections, each developed around the style and performance needs of the Serbian star on the court and off, around the Grand Slam tournaments every year.
