World No.1 Iga Swiatek is in great form and is one of the favourites to win the 2023 French Open title – is her net worth set to increase to $25 million

Iga Swiatek is in incredible form at the ongoing French Open and she could very well become the only active female Tennis player to have a net worth of US$ 25 million if she manages to take home the crown from Paris.

Prize money for this year’s Roland Garros will be a total of €49.6 million, an increase of more than 12 percent from 2022. The men’s and women’s singles champions in Paris will each receive €2.3 million.

Swiatek’s current net worth is US$20 million and this huge increase in the French Open pot means that Swiatek’s overall net worth could have a huge jump if she wins the Grand Slam.

Swiatek was invincible in 2022 and she has replicated her form even this year. However, she has choked in the final stages of some of the tournaments in 2023 including the recently concluded Madrid Open, where she finished runners up.

Swiatek has won two WTA titles already this year – the Qatar Open and the Stuttgart Open besides reaching the semi-finals of the Indian Wells Masters and finishing as runners-up at the Dubai Tennis Championships and the Madrid Open. She has progressed to the quarter-finals stage of the ongoing French Open and will be absolutely focused on winning the title.
