Is Jessica Pegula the richest tennis player ever?

Published by

American star Jessica Pegula is presently ranked in the top 10 of both the singles and doubles rankings of women’s tennis

Jessica Pegula has earned more than US$ 5 million as prize money in her career so far but that’s just a drop in the ocean to what she stands to inherit. She’s the daughter of Terry Pegula, the world’s 434th richest person who made a £3.6billion fortune from natural gas development.

Pegula senior owns NFL giants Buffalo Bills – who he bought in 2014 after outbidding Donald Trump and Bon Jovi, and various other sports franchises.

Astonishingly, she is richer than the worth of Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova combined. Despite being the heiress to a tremendous fortune, Jessica Pegula is intent on building a successful tennis career that began with a wildcard into the women’s doubles event at the 2012 US Open.

Pegula was encouraged to play tennis at a very young age and she turned professional in 2009.

What’s the net worth of Jessica’s father Terry Pegula?

Terry Pegula is an American billionaire businessman and petroleum engineer. He is the owner of Pegula Sports and Entertainment which owns the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL) and, with his wife Kim Pegula, the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL).
