Christopher Aurier, brother of Tottenham star, Serge Aurier, was shot dead in France on Monday morning
Nick Kyrgios offered his condolences to Tottenham star Serge Aurier after his brother was killed outside a club in France.
Christopher Aurier was shot dead in the French city of Toulouse. Reports suggested the shooting took place outside a night club on Monday morning.
Aurier died in hospital after emergency services found him shot in the stomach on the city’s outskirts. The deceased was a citizen of Ivory Coast, like his brother Serge, and was also a footballer, playing in France.
Kyrgios shared his feelings on Serge Aurier’s brother’s death via a tweet on his official handle. “Stay strong bro”.
Kyrgios tweeted on top of Tottenham’s post saying “We are with you, @Serge_Aurier”, offering his sympathies to the Ivorian footballer.

The Aussie has been very vocal in recent times against fellow tennis players and others, who have rallied for the restart of tennis amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Football fans offer their condolences to Serge Aurier
Football fans thronged in numbers to offer their deepest regret’s to Aurier after the sad demise of his brother.
“Stay strong Serge, we are thinking of you and your family. RIP”, replied a Twitter user named ‘Spanish Gooner’, after beneath Tottenham’s post.

The North London club had earlier posted a message on their wall.
“The Club is deeply saddened to confirm media reports that Serge Aurier’s brother passed away in the early hours of this morning.”
“Everybody at the Club sends their sincerest condolences to Serge and his family. Our thoughts are with them all.”

Apart from Kyrgios, Marseille star Florian Thauvin and a few other celebrities had also expressed their regrets at the death of Aurier’s brother.
