A Novak Djokovic fan had an interesting message on a banner at the Paris Masters
Novak Djokovic is currently plying his trade at the Paris Masters and has stormed into the quarterfinals of the ATP 1000 event.
The 21-time Grand Slam champion has been on a roll ever since his quarter-final exit in the French Open. Djokovic might have played only a handful of tournaments since then but has won all. He won his seventh Wimbledon title after defeating Nick Kyrgios in the final. He began October by bagging the Tel Aviv Open after defeating Marin Cilic in the final. Prior to the Paris Masters, Djokovic won another title in Astana by blowing away Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final.
So far at the Paris Masters, Djokovic has been playing at his dominating best and has steamrolled his opponents en route to the quarterfinals. The former world No. 1 began his campaign in Bercy against Maxime Cressy. The American youngster put up a good fight in the first set but failed to win. Djokovic showed his class in the second set and won the match 7-6 (7-1), 6-4. In the round of 16, the Serbian legend outclassed Karen Khachanov. Djokovic won the match 6-4, 6-1, and extended his winning streak to 11 matches.
During the match, a fan in the stadium held up a banner with an interesting message. It read:
“We don’t want your racquet. We don’t want your SHOE. We just want to have A GLASS OF WINE (and a selfie) with you! NOVAK”
