The Serbian Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly one of the best players to have ever played the game of tennis. He will be going into the upcoming Wimbledon tournament as the defending champion.
Novak Djokovic played a tremendous quarterfinal match against arch-rival Rafael Nadal at the recently concluded Roland Garros. After losing the first set to the Spaniard, Djokovic made a stunning comeback in the second set and began the third with great momentum. However, Nadal raised his game to a prolific level where he almost made zero mistakes en route to winning 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). The 20-time Grand Slam champion could not participate in the Australian Open earlier this year due to being unvaccinated against COVID-19.
The six-time Wimbledon champion has been working hard at SW19 ahead of the third Grand Slam of the year. The No. 1 seed took to Twitter and posted a picture of him practicing. In the caption of the video, he wrote about his love for the most prestigious Grand Slam of the year.

Djokovic squares off against the South Korean youngster Soon-woo Kwon. The 24-year-old turned pro in 2015. He is currently ranked 75 and is coached by former tennis player Daniel Woo.
Kwon’s best performance at a Grand Slam came at the 2021 French Open, where he reached the third round. Kwon and Djokovic have faced each other only once before. This was at the 2021 Serbia Open where the veteran won in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 in the round of 16.
