Pot 2 includes Casper Ruud and Daniil Medvedev while Pot 3 has Andrey Rublev and Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime. The latest entrant Taylor Fritz has been put into Pot 4 along with Novak Djokovic.

Now that the pots are out, fans will be eagerly waiting for the action to get underway. The season-ending tournament promises to be a mouth-watering prospect with the top tennis players in the world set to battle it out against each other.

Fans react to the pots of ATP Finals 2022 on Twitter

Let us take a look at some of the reactions from fans on Twitter after the pots were revealed.

“I have changed my opinion I want the group to be Nadal , Ruud , Rublev and Fritz. Nadal needs good matches not difficult ones at first”, wrote a fan.

“That would be ridiculous if they put those 4 in one group. Leaving the weaker 4 players in a group by themselves? Why”, wrote another fan, reacting to the original tweet.

“Oh boy… on the other end: Tsitsipas, Rublev, Ruud and Fritz… That would be 2 completely unbalanced groups, sadly so”, read another tweet.

“Serious potential for some really unbalanced groupings here. A Tsitsipas / Ruud / Rublev / Fritz group vs. Med / Nadal / Djokovic/ FAA would be crazy. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen”, tweeted another fan.

Another fan wrote: “Sickening. Maybe the best ATP Finals lineup in terms of players in form since 2015 or 16.”
