The tennis world rejoiced as Rafael Nadal and his wife Maria Francisca Perello were blessed with their first child last month.
The fans were waiting to get a glimpse of the legendary player’s infant son. The latest issue of the Spanish magazine Semana states that the couple was seen taking a walk with their son in Mallorca before the 22-time Grand Slam champion departed for Turin. Nadal will be seen in action at the ATP Finals in Turin and this will be just his second tournament after the birth of his child.
In the report, Nadal can be seen carefully holding his son in his arms. In another picture, his wife is also seen holding the little one in her arms.
Nadal and his wife have reportedly named their first child Rafael Nadal Perello, taking after the former No. 1 player’s grandfather.
Rafael Nadal arrives in Turin
The legendary Rafael Nadal has made his entry in Turin. He was spotted practicing on Wednesday ahead of the ATP Finals.
In a video posted on the official Twitter handle of the ATP Tour en Español, Nadal can be seen entering the court to get some practice. The ATP Finals begin on November 13.
Nadal suffered a shock exit in the round of 32 of the Paris Masters. He lost to Taylor Fritz in a three-set encounter. The Spaniard will seek his first ATP Finals crown next week. It has been a fruitful season for the southpaw and it’s hard to bet against him.
