(Watch) Rafael Nadal shares encouraging message to students of his International School with another coronavirus update

Rafael Nadal has been active in a bid to inform the public about the severity of the coronavirus

Rafael Nadal shared a message for the students of his Rafa Nadal International School on Tuesday in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

The current World No.2 is currently under self-isolation as part of the mandatory measures required.

With all tennis-related activities suspended by the game’s governing bodies until at least July 13th, players have been trying to make the best of their free time.

Nadal has been very active in recent days, sending messages to the public to stay safe.

The 19-time Grand Slam winner had also recently joined hands with his friend and Spanish basketball star Pau Gasol in a campaign to raise funds to donate for the Spanish Red Cross.

Spain has been one of the worst-hit countries by the pandemic virus claiming as many as 13,700 deaths.

The severity of the issue led to Nadal and many other sporting celebrities updating the public on a regular basis via their social media handles to adhere to the set guidelines and measures.

The Spaniard could be seen sharing a message of encouragement for the students studying at his Rafa Nadal International School in Mallorca.

Nadal shared his words of encouragement for the students. They are all now at home studying and following their classes virtually via video-messages.

Nadal also highlights the work of parents and teachers

The tennis champion also highlighted the importance and work of parents and teachers who were helping to educate the children.

He expressed his gratitude towards the teachers who had put tremendous effort in making distance classes a reality.

Though the concept of the school was to offer both tennis and academic training to players alone, it all changed once the school opened. Nadal wanted the doors to be opened for all the kids in Mallorca.

Nadal wanted everyone to benefit from the facilities and academic program his school offered.
