Simona Halep and Toni Luruc confirmed their marriage in a lavish ceremony
The Romanian tennis sensation, Simona Halep, got married to her boyfriend Toni Luruc in a lavish ceremony. Her now husband Luruc is a billionaire businessman from Macedonia.
The former World no.1 threw a massive party of around 300 people in Constanta which happens to be her hometown. Simona Halep‘s coach Darren Cahill was also at the wedding and gave his congratulations to the newly wed couple, he tweeted:
“The official signing today of marriage for Simo and Toni in Romania. Congratulations and big hugs to you both. An amazing couple. Have a great celebration with family and friends tonight!”

As seen by the pictures the they definitely know how to throw a party. They married in a civil ceremony at the Fratelli Club in Constanta, Romania which is also owned by the godfather of Halep. The party also consisted of musical performances and much more to keep the guests entertained throughout.

Halep is a 29 year old Romanian tennis player. Born and raised out of Constanta, Romania she turned pro in 2006 at the age of 14. She currently sits as the world no.11 in the WTA rankings. Halep has a career best ranking of world no.1 which she achieved on Oct 9, 2017.
She has won a total prize money of $37.9 million in her career so far. Halep has 22 career singles titles also including two Grand Slams. She won the French Open in 2018 and also the Wimbledon in 2019. Halep was knocked out at the most recent US Open in the Round of 16 by E. Svitolina.
