Stan Wawrinka was involved in an Instagram live conversation with World No.1 Novak Djokovic
Stan Wawrinka gave an insight into his life during the coronavirus lockdown during an Instagram conversation with Novak Djokovic.
Wawrinka spoke in lengths regarding a range of topics after he and fellow compatriot Djokovic held a live conversation.
Both Wawrinka and Djokovic are currently undergoing the mandatory self-isolation process at their respective homes in order to curb the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.
Despite the lockdown restricting everyone to their houses, Wawrinka had an adorable answer on how he was spending his time at home. According to the Swiss, he was happy that he could spend some time at home with his family, especially his daughter.
“Not every day, unfortunately not every day. It’s been great, living in a nice place, and spending a lot of time at home, not that I am used to. Spending a lot of time with my daughter, at least this is positive,” Wawrinka was heard saying.
Djokovic, who held the live conversation seems to have been inspired by Wawrinka. The Swiss player’s session with French star Benoit Paire a few days back had garnered a lot of attention online.
While in conversation with Wawrinka, current World No.1 Djokovic also revealed a few things.
Djokovic said that he was planning to pick up a few languages during the break with ATP suspending all games at least until July 13.
“Starting a bit of Russian. Need to get better in French, also a bit of German, need to get better in that too,” Djokovic said.
He then asked Wawrinka if he was planning to learn something new, to which the Swiss replied that he wanted to help Djokovic in learning some of those languages.
