Stanislas Wawrinka is still an active player in the professional circuit and currently ranked World no. 139 in ATP singles
Stan Wawrinka is an entertainer both on and off the court and it was on display on Twitter when the Swiss won over the hearts of fans with his sense of humour. Wawrinka is in the twilight of his career and is not a regular feature on the ATP tour anymore, but he has certainly not lost his mojo off the court. The Swiss star was last seen in action at the recently concluded Australian Open, where he suffered a first round exit.
Wawrinka was at his sarcastic best, responding to a troll on Twitter. “I sometimes still cannot understand how Stan Wawrinka won three Grand Slams”, tweeted a user. Wawrinka replied: “Me neither 😉” and the response went viral in no time. The user later clarified: “Let me clarify: I didn’t mean it in a negative manner! I love Stan.” However, it was too late and Wawrinka had already won the Internet for the day.
