The talented Stefanos Tsitsipas celebrated his 24th birthday on August 12 and fans flooded Twitter with their birthday wishes for the Greek tennis pro.

World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas turned pro in 2016 and won 9 singles titles as of now. His best result at a Grand Slam came at the 2021 French Open where he made it to the finals. He has won 230 out of the 340 singles matches he has played till now. He achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 3 on August 9, 2021.

As far as doubles are concerned, Tsitsipas has won 25 and lost 46 out of the 71 matches he has played. He has currently ranked world No. 84 but his career-high ranking was 68 which he achieved on August 19, 2019.

The official Twitter handle of ATP Tour posted a special video of Tsitsipas on his birthday. The youngster quote retweeted the tweet and jokingly wrote in the caption: “I hereby declare this special day a national holiday.”

What’s next for Stefanos Tsitsipas?

Tsitsipas took part in the ongoing Canadian Open but couldn’t go beyond the first round. He lost to the qualifier Jack Draper in straight sets and it is one of the biggest upsets of the tournament thus far.

Tsitsipas will look to overcome the debacle and get back to good form at the Cincinnati Masters. He will start his campaign on August 16.

Last year, Tsitsipas progressed to the semi-final stage of the competition but failed to go beyond after suffering a defeat to Alexander Zverev.
