Nick Kyrgios’ form coming into the tournament
Nick Kyrgios is making a comeback on the ATP tour after a break of two months, having skipped the French Open. The Australian will begin his campaign in the Round of 32 and will look for a positive start. Kyrgios’ best performance so far this year came at the Indian Wells Masters – the Australian reached the quarter-finals but eventually lost to Rafael Nadal.
Jiri Lehecka’s form coming into the tournament
20-year-old Jiri Lehecka is presently ranked No.77 in the world. He played at the French Open but lost in the very first round to David Goffin. The Czech youngster is a regular on the Challenger series and will be aiming for some consistency on the senior ATP circuit.

Andy Murray is coming into the event at the back of a semi-final loss in the Surbiton Trophy last week. The 35-year-old didn’t play at the French Open but has been a regular part of the ATP tour this year. His best performance so far this year came at the Sydney International, where he finished as runners-up.
Christopher O’Connell’s form coming into the tournament
O’Connell has made it to the main draw of the competition after winning two rounds of qualifiers. In the first round, he defeated Daniel Masur 7-6, 7-5, and then defeated higher seed Peter Gojowczyk 6-3, 6-4 to qualify for the main draw of the Stuttgart Open. O’Connell will however face an uphill task against the veteran Murray in the Round of 32.
