WTA star Caroline Garcia is having a tough time dealing with her heart-breaking loss in the final of the Monterrey Open. Garcia was the top seed in the tournament but fell in the final hurdle, losing to No.3 seed Donna Vekic. The French has arrived in California for the Indian Wells Masters but she has revealed that the loss in the final is hurting her from the inside and she is struggling to get over it.

Garcia shared her feelings on her Instagram story and it’s certainly to see an athlete having to through such downs. “Terribly tired, physically and mentally, leaving to the airport in 6h but I can’t fall asleep, I am “afraid” to go to sleep,” she wrote in Instagram stories. “My mind is going crazy. Every time I switch off the lights and put my head on the pillow, I can rewatch my match, that serve catching the lines on break point or that easy forehand missed or that bad choice. Tennis can drive you crazy a little bit“, she wrote. However, she has very little time to get herself together before she plays her first round match at the Indian Wells Masters on March 11.
