Alexander Bublik was left terribly frustrated after losing an intense three-set encounter against France’s Gregoire Barrere in Montpellier. In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, Bublik can be seen destroying three racquets on the court after his heart-breaking defeat. Bublik lost to Barrere 4-6, 7-6, 6-7 in a match that lasted more than three hours.
Bublik was seeded sixth in the tournament but fell to an unseeded Frenchman. He was also the defending champion but his title defense didn’t last too long as he bowed out of the first round itself. The footage of Bublik’s meltdown has gone viral on social media in no time.
