Tennis star Alexander Zverev has some incredible agility and strength in his legs

German sensation Alexander Zverev is doing his bit to stay in shape, and recently posted a video of some training.

The 22-year-old is considered as one of the next-gen tennis stars and great things are expected of him.

However, tennis, like most sports, has been hit hard by the coronavirus. All events have been suspended for a while with Wimbledon even cancelling their 2020 event.

The 2020 Olympics were also shifted to next year, and it is to be seen when things return to normal across the world.

The coronavirus might have stopped sporting events across the world, but the players need to stay fit.

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have posted challenges and videos of what they are doing during their off-time and Zverev did the same too.

The German shared a video of him doing some jumps and it was an impressive sight.

Tennis players need a lot of leg strength thanks to the running they do, but jumping this high was certainly impressive by the German.

An NBA star in the making?

Basketball stars need to have similar leaps to try and dunk or reach the basket. Zverev also has linked with the NBA as the German plays the sport and supports the Miami Heat too.

Of course, basketball players have a great vertical leap than Zverev due to their years of playing at the top level.

NBA legend Michael Jordan had recorded a vertical leap of 48 inches during his playing days, which is 4 feet.

That is a crazy number and the Chicago Bulls star was over 6 feet in height already. Zverev might not be able to reach that height but his effort certainly was impressive.
