Alcaraz’s season has been marred by injuries so far. He made a comeback on the ATP tour at the Argentina Open in February after a long injury lay-off spanning over three months but he had been in sublime touch ever since he took the court in Argentina. He clinched the title in Argentina and finished runners-up in Rio and looked all set to do well in Mexico, before he pulled out of the tournament. The World No.2 will now look to brush aside the struggles and continue his good run in California.
