The former world No. 1 Novak Djokovic has donned different hats during this year’s Laver Cup competition. Fans have loved him in all the roles and they just can’t get enough of him.
During Roger Federer’s farewell match at the Laver Cup, where the Swiss legend teamed with Rafael Nadal to take on the team of Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock, the loudest cheers were coming from Novak Djokovic. The 21-time Grand Slam champion was clapping and cheering his long-time rivals and friends off the court on an emotional night for tennis lovers.
Djokovic donned the coach’s hat during Matteo Berrettini’s match against Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Italian star seemed to benefit immensely as he edged past the Canadian youngster in a closely contested battle.
The 35-year-old has always entertained us with the racquet in hand and when he stepped into the O2 Arena to play his first singles match since winning the Wimbledon final, fans knew they were in for a treat. US Open semi-finalist Frances Tiafoe was Djokovic’s opponent and the impressive youngster was outclassed by the veteran in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
Djokovic lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime in his second match. In the doubles circuit, Djokovic and Berrettini got the better of Jack Sock and Alex De Minaur.
During the tournament, Djokovic set the Internet ablaze with his swag. He was seen eating a banana while wearing sunglasses and he even did the “call me” gesture.

Tennis fans were pleasantly surprised to see Novak Djokovic showing his cool side at the Laver Cup. Seeing him in a good frame of mind will certainly come as a huge relief for his fans.
