Rafael Nadal urged everyone to stay stronger and keep fighting
Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal shared an inspirational message to his millions of fans via Instagram.
With the whole world currently undergoing a tough time due to the coronavirus crisis, Nadal had a little something to motivate everyone.
The World No.2 posted a video whilst under self-isolation at his home in Mallorca, Spain. Nadal urged everyone to stay stronger and keep fighting so that everything goes back to normal.
He concluded by saying that everyone will be together again and that it would turn out to be the biggest victory.
Meanwhile, Nadal posted the video with the caption: “Sometimes life brings us down when we least expect it…. and this will have been our best victory.”
“Sometimes life brings us down when we least expect it. Sometimes we lose matches we thought we’d won, sometimes our body does not respond to us when we need it most. And life separates us from the ones we love the most,” Nadal said.
“Those are the times when you have to be stronger. To show ourselves that there is a way out, that it can be done. Rely on the people who have always been there for us. And fight so that everything…. goes back to the way it was.”

“We’ll be back with more desire to see and hug each other. We’ll be back to play all the pending matches, we’ll be together again. And this will have been our best victory,” he concluded.
The 18-time Grand Slam winner has been very active in recent days, doing his bit to fight coronavirus crisis, by donating and collecting money for the needy.
“If he’s healthy, he’s still going to be the favourite”
Meanwhile, former World No.4 Robin Soderling was of the opinion that whatever the time may be Nadal was the favourite to win the French Open.
The Swede was speaking to Sky Sports when he was asked about Nadal’s chances of winning this year’s French Open – a tournament the Spaniard has won a record-12 times.
“Of course, it’s going to be a completely different tournament but Rafa on clay – it doesn’t matter if it’s in June or September – for me if he’s healthy, he’s still going to be the favourite,” said Soderling.
The French Open – one of tennis’ four Grand Slam events – was scheduled to take place from May 24 to June 7, but will now be held from September 20 to October 4 due to the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Soderling became the first person to beat Nadal at Roland Garros back in 2009, since the Spaniard’s debut in the Grand Slam event in 2005. It remained Nadal’s sole loss in the Major event until 2015.
