Rafa Nadal is currently undergoing isolation at his home in Mallorca
Rafael Nadal misses his special Rafael Nadal foundation event which was to be held in Paris.
The event started five years back. However, the Spaniard is unable to attend it this year due to the coronavirus crisis.
Nadal, who is currently undergoing isolation at his home in Mallorca, expressed his regrets by sharing pictures from the past. The tennis sensation also added the caption: “Today we should be in Paris … and we remember this unforgettable night in the team”.
The first-ever international gala of the Rafa Nadal Foundation was held in Paris on 23rd May. The aim of raising funds for the organisation’s maiden independent Project, the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre.

The Nadal Foundation currently runs two centres – one in his hometown Mallorca in Spain and the other in India.
Nadal dons a new look
Meanwhile, Nadal donned a completely new look after making a return to the tennis court for the first time since March this year due to coronavirus pandemic.

The 33-year-old recently took to his Twitter account to post a photo of himself with the new-look during a practice session at his Rafa Nadal Academy.
“Here I am, the first pictures I am posting for you on court. This is my practice earlier today at @rnadalacademy #BackOnCourt #BabolatFamily 🎾👍🏻💪🏻😉”, the 19-time Grand Slam winner posted.
Despite Nadal’s return to training, competitive tennis is yet to resume with ATP having suspended all matches and tours until July 13.
