Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic are all under quarantine as the ATP has suspended the tour
Tennis stars Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic are all currently at home quarantine due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The sudden spread of the pandemic has left many including the ‘Big Three’ of tennis out of action until normalcy restores.
The ATP suspending all activities until June 7. And all the three are busy at home taking necessary precautions.
A former World No.1, Federer is currently on a four-month-long injury lay off after undergoing a right-knee surgery last month. He had sustained the injury during the Australian Open tournament earlier this year.
Current World No.2 Nadal, on the other hand, had updated his status via a Twitter post wherein he informed his millions of fans and followers about his condition during the home quarantine.
Hola a todos. Estoy bien, en casa, haciendo ejercicio físico y siguiendo las órdenes y recomendaciones de las autoridades.
Espero que todos estéis bien y en casa. #yomequedoencasa#iorestoacasa #andràtuttobene#jerestechezmoi#IStayAtHome https://t.co/HuhgKk2iDl— Rafa Nadal (@RafaelNadal) March 17, 2020
Nadal explained that he was fine and was doing physical exercises to keep himself in good shape. He also informed the public to follow the necessary steps and requested them to stay safe.
Meanwhile, current World No.1 Djokovic, who had a better start to the season than the rest of the two stars is spending the quarantine in Marbella, Spain with his family.

Djokovic immediately left the States and split with his team in Germany before heading home after realising that the tournament won’t be held due to the virus outbreak.
Players connect through WhatsApp group
Many of the tennis players including Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic keep in touch with each other via a common WhatsApp group.
Initially made to discuss matters related to decisions taken by the ATP. The group has in recent weeks become a communication hub to spread news, information and comments and jokes.
The group was also used as a platform by the Players Council to propose the ATP board to stop all tournaments in the wake of the pandemic.
