Here’s everything you need to know about the parking facilities and tickets at US Open 2023
Ticket prices for various games and events at the US Open Tennis Parking differ, with a starting price of $17 and an average cost of $87. On Conflict Dates, coinciding with New York Mets home games, attendees will be guided to park in BLUE ZONE PARKING and ORANGE ZONE PARKING as per the instructions of the New York Police Department (NYPD) and parking personnel.
On Non-Conflict Dates, when there are no New York Mets home games, visitors will be instructed to use Mets Stadium parking, specifically YELLOW ZONE PARKING, by the NYPD and parking lot staff. These arrangements are subject to modification. (Vehicle parking: $40; Bus parking: $80)
Cadillac vehicle owners will enjoy free parking in all paid lots, a policy that commenced on August 28. Visitors also have the option of parking at the Shops at Skyview, a brief stroll from the boardwalk, providing entry and exit routes that avoid congestion near Mets Stadium. For optimal efficiency, it’s advisable for fans to use the Grand Central Parkway exit 9E, Whitestone Expressway Exit 13D, or Long Island Expressway Exit 22B – College Point Blvd. New York Police Department (NYPD) will guide fans from these points to the designated parking areas. Nonetheless, it’s strongly recommended that attendees of the US Open consider using public transportation whenever possible.
What are the public transportation services available for the US Open?
1. Subway: The 7 train offers transportation from Grand Central Terminal to Mets-Willets Point Station, connecting with Metro-North Trains from Westchester and Connecticut. It’s also accessible from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
2. Rail – Long Island Rail Road (LIRR): LIRR offers convenient service to Mets-Willets Point Station from Woodside, with easy connections from Penn Station for New Jersey Transit passengers.
