Here’s everything you need to know about Nick Kyrgios Foundation’s exclusive app
Nick Kyrgios Foundation backs a unique application called “Tennis Neutral”. It was developed by Robert Bleeker, based on a prototype generated by a team of student volunteers from the Australian National University led by Kehui Xu. The app gets a major portion of its investments from Australian Tennis star Nick Kyrgios. It aids coaches, players and parents to manage their interactions with UTR.
The Tennis Neutral app provides an accurate estimate of where the UTR neutral point lies in a match between players with different UTRs. It helps users by removing the stress of not knowing what results in a match is positive for your UTR. This app helps players, coaches and parents assess how their match results relate to their UTR. It gives coaches a pretty clear idea of players’ relative performance in any given match.
It is very easy to use this app. Users just need to input a match result in addition to the two player ratings and determine instantly which player has improved their UTR and who has not. This app is currently available for use in the US, Canada and Australia.
Nick Kyrgios has been seeded No.31 in the men’s singles draw of the Wimbledon Championships. His participation at the event was a doubt after he pulled out of the Halle Open last week but he has recovered in time to take part in the grass-court Grand Slam. He was out of action for a long time until the Stuttgart Open last month, which happened to be his first professional tournament since November, 2022.
Kyrgios has always done well at the Wimbledon Championships. He made his Wimbledon debut in 2014 and scripted history by reaching the quarter-finals despite being a Wildcard entrant. He notably finished runners-up in 2022. The Australian will aim to go a step better this time around and win his maiden Grand Slam Singles’ title.
