Nikola Bartunkova is a Czech tennis player born on 25th February, 2006. The 17-year-old reached her highest singles ranking in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) at 267 on 21st November 2022, and her highest doubles ranking at 451 on 5th December 2022.
In April 2021, Bartůňková made her first attempt at the WTA Tour debut during the 2021 İstanbul Cup. She secured a victory against Leonie Küng, who was ranked 152nd in the WTA, in the first round of qualifying. However, she was unable to advance further as she was defeated by Anastasia Gasanova.
One year later, Bartůňková received a wildcard entry into the main draw of the same tournament, marking her debut at the Tour level.
