Terence B. Davis II is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA. He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels. He began playing basketball at six. He became a star football player at Southaven High School.
As a college player, he recorded 30 points on 6-of-7 3-pointers in an NIT victory against the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball. Davis was also named to the Second-team All-SEC. During his career in high school, he helped the team lead to the NCAA Tournament for the ninth time in school record.
Davis was undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft and then he joined the Denver Nuggets for the NBA Summer League. He then went on to sign a two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors in July 2019 and made his debut in NBA in October 2019.
He recorded a significant number, averaging 19 points and eight rebounds in a 113-97 victory against the Orlando Magic and went to get a career-high 31 points over the Chicago Bulls. The NBA named him the 2019-20 NBA All-Rookie Second Team in September 2020.
Davis was traded to the Sacramento Kings in March 2021. He logged a career-high 35 points against the Detroit Pistons in January 2022. On February 1, 2022, Davis underwent wrist surgery and was ruled out for three months.
On November 15, 2022, Davis scored 31 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and recorded three steals and seven 3-pointers at 70% field goal shooting, in a 153–121 win over the Brooklyn Nets. This statline was the first of its kind in NBA history.
