The Fiend stole the show on this week’s WWE SmackDown
This week’s WWE SmackDown ended with The Fiend making a big impact and sending a message too.
Bray Wyatt came out for a Firefly Fun House segment, but things took a turn for the worse after the main event.
While this was one of the pluses from SmackDown, there were a few misses too.
Another SmackDown, another Naomi vs Lacey Evans clash. WWE cannot seem to get anything going for these women, and this was another day when things just didn’t feel right.
We have written time and again how Naomi and Evans deserve better, something that Evans touched upon after her loss.
However, this match between the pair wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t needed.
Speaking of a bad day, the entire angle of Sonya Deville cutting off Mandy Rose’s hair fell flat too.
Alright, Rose is one of the most beautiful women in the world and she is a great wrestler too, so losing some hair and her makeup getting ruined hurts, but this shouldn’t be a major problem.
God’s Greatest Creation looked distraught over losing a chunk of hair which was probably an extension, but everyone has their issues.
Baron Corbin is an excellent heel and his rivalry with Matt Riddle seemed to be set for this week’s show.
However, it made little sense for him to speak about Jeff Hardy after the Charismatic Enigma featured on the show.
Corbin doesn’t need to antagonize everyone, even though he is great at doing it. Corbin vs Riddle should be the focus of the King, and with Shorty G by his side, that is something he should work on.
We touched upon Deville and her attack on Rose earlier, but the Pride Fighter was excellent during her time on the show.
Deville has been on point ever since she broke up with Rose and it seemed she was ready to move on. While bringing Deville back to battle Rose does seem a little lazy from the WWE writers, the Pride Fighter is one of the positives on SmackDown and we will get to see more of her.
Big E made his move as a singles competitor on this SmackDown, and he got the win over The Miz.
While John Morrison tried to help the Miz out, it was great to see E get his singles push after a long time.
The big man has been a quiet member of the New Day and stayed with the team even though Kofi Kingston got his singles run.
This is Big E’s time and it will be interesting to see what WWE does with him ultimately.
The Fiend came out after Alexa Bliss was pushed away by Nikki Cross. Cross was upset at losing to Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s title and hit out at her best friend.
While Bliss was upset and alone in the ring, The Fiend made his move and hit the mandible claw on her.
This was a hit at Sister Abigail, Bliss and Braun Strowman all in one go. The Fiend is one of the best parts of WWE and his actions on Bliss will be a talking point for a long time.
