Let us check out the ending of the recently released movie The Flash and see what was the twist at the end of it in this article.

The highly anticipated movie, The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti, has thrilled audiences with its unexpected and satisfying ending. If you haven’t seen the film yet, beware of spoilers. In a way reminiscent of Back to the Future, the conclusion of The Flash takes us back to a restored reality after a perilous journey through time that nearly resulted in the destruction of everything we know. However, there’s a twist that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

The movie’s climax picks up speed as Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, is rescued from a secret facility in Serbia. Initially hesitant to assist the two Barry Allens, she eventually decides to join forces with our Barry to help him regain his superpowers. Together with the iconic Batman played by Michael Keaton, they head to the Mojave Desert to confront the formidable Zod and his fleet of Kryptonian forces.

As the battle ensues, Kara confronts Zod, who reveals a shocking truth about the Man of Steel. Kal-El, the infant who was sent to Earth in a pod, never made it due to Zod intercepting the pod and attempting to extract his blood. Kara unleashes a fierce attack on Zod while the two Barrys team up to neutralize the enemy forces. Batman provides air support in his Batwing, but a tragic turn of events leads to his sacrifice as he takes down the largest Kryptonian ship.

Devastatingly, Kara meets a similar fate to Jor-El as Zod impales her before extracting her blood. Determined to change their grim destinies, the younger Barry proposes going back in time to prevent their deaths. Despite initial reservations, our Barry chases after him into the Speed Force.

Rewinding time by ten minutes, they manage to save Batman from his ill-fated encounter with the Kryptonian ship, but the Space Giant remains a formidable opponent. Batman ultimately sacrifices himself to defeat the alien, leaving our Barry grieving by his side.

As they mourn Batman’s loss, Zod kills Kara once again. Young Barry refuses to accept this outcome, insisting that as in The Flash, nobody should die. However, Barry imparts his mother’s wisdom, acknowledging that not every problem has a solution, and sometimes one must let go.

Dark Flash, a monstrous version of Barry from the future, then attacks our Barry, revealing that his reckless time-travelling was an attempt to save their mother. The battle concludes with young Barry sacrificing himself to defeat Dark Flash, disintegrating like Marty McFly’s fading photo.

In one final trip back in time, our Barry makes a subtle change to the timeline by moving tomatoes in Nora’s shopping trolley, ensuring his father Henry has an alibi. As Barry steps out of the court, relieved by the positive turn of events, he receives a call from Bruce Wayne, but something seems off.

Confusion ensues as George Clooney’s Bruce Wayne steps out of the car, leading Barry to question his identity as Batman. The scene ends with Barry’s tooth falling out due to hastily glueing it earlier in the movie.

The conclusion of The Flash leaves audiences with a mix of satisfaction and intrigue, as our hero navigates a world that appears normal but holds unexpected surprises. As we eagerly await the next instalment, we can’t help but wonder what new adventures and challenges await Barry and his newfound allies.
