Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side dispatched 5th placed Arsenal by a 3-1 scoreline on the night. Goals from Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota were enough to seal the victory as Wolves attempt to secure 7th place.
They looked the better side right from the off and were never really troubled for an extended period of time.
Neves opened the scoring with a spectacular free-kick. Although Arsenal got one back through Sokratis, they never really got into the game and the Wolves ensured the points stayed at Molineux.

A solid display in the right side of the Wolves defence and was in the way of any forward passes down that flank.

The Belgian put in an imposing display in the middle of the park and the Arsenal midfield struggled to come into the game.
Scored what could be one of the best goals of his career to get this rampant Wolves side underway on the night.
The Portuguese veteran put in an experienced display and took control of anything that went through the middle.
Did well down the left side and dealt with a lot of pressure from the Arsenal attackers in the 2nd period.
Didn’t get himself on the scoresheet tonight but put in an excellent shift and worked hard down the flanks.
