Theo Pourchaire began his career with single-seater racing in 2018, capturing victory in the Junior French F4 Championship. In the subsequent year, he progressed to secure the 2019 ADAC Formula 4 Championship, engaging in a close battle with Dennis Hauger for the championship title.
