Former multi-division UFC Champion Conor McGregor reacts to not being present at WrestleMania 38
WrestleMania 38 Night Two got wrapped up today, but it seems like someone desperately wanted to be present at the Grandest Stage of All. UFC Legend Conor McGregor took to Twitter and reacted about why he was not at this year’s WWE WrestleMania event.
McGregor mentioned that he was not there as everyone feared him,
Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.
Conor potentially making the transition from UFC to WWE has been teased for several years now. Many superstars have posted that they expect to see McGregor in the WWE throughout all these years. Even former WWE Champion Sheamus also remarked wanting to see Conor at the company soon.
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre responded to a tweet of McGregor as he wrote, “Shut up, McTapper”. This was about McGregor losing four out of six UFC matches via submission. His last two games in the UFC have seen him defeated by Dustin Poirier via TKO on both Occasions.
McIntyre took to Twitter and posted,
Shut up McTapper
Drew McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin in a grudge match on Night 1 of WrestleMania 38. The game was dominated mainly by McIntyre with his sheer athleticism. He hit a flying tope over the top rope sending Cordin and Madcap Moss to the ground.
Corbin hit the End of Days only to get kicked out by McIntyre. However, soon, he made a comeback and laid him out with a Claymore Kick to get the clean pin. Interestingly Moss attempted to get into the ring after the match, but McIntyre sliced the ropes with his sword.
