The Merseysiders started dominating proceedings from the very beginning and found themselves ahead through Fabinho’s superb 25-yard drive. Salah soon doubled their lead before Mane also struck to put the game beyond City. Barnardo Silva pulled one back but Liverpool went on to win easily.
