Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make any transfers so far and with the Premier League just around the corner, it remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino brings in any new additions. However, Spurs defender Danny Rose has been linked with an exit from the club. The England star faces an uncertain future after publically criticizing the club’s wage structure and ambition last year, following which he immediately apologized. (Sky Sports)
Along with Danny Rose, fellow teammates Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele are also linked with moves away from the club. Rose was only able to muster a total of 10 appearances in the Premier League last season, and with the resurgent Ben Davies now playing first fiddle, there’s no real guarantee the England defender can make his way back into the squad. Here we take a look at three clubs Rose could join in search of pastures anew.
The Reds possess a gem of a left-back in Andy Robertson, but the arrival of Rose would further strengthen their back line. Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has been far too inconsistent for too long. He was sloppy and displayed a number of frailties last season.
Rose would be a brilliant replacement for the Spanish international. The Three Lions’ defender is also capable of playing as a wing-back or as a midfielder on the left flank. His versatility will provide manager Jurgen Klopp with a wide range of options to pick from.
Liverpool’s defence has often been the main reason behind their downfall in recent times. Klopp should certainly go for the left-back and bolster his defensive set-up.
The Red Devils have endured a relatively quiet transfer window so far and left-back Luke Shaw hasn’t been all that impressive for them.
The defender has been far too inconsistent in his performances and his horrendous fitness record adds to the woes. Mourinho should replace the former Southampton man with Danny Rose. The defender possesses a number of qualities to flourish under the Portuguese manager.
Rose’s ability to make marauding runs down the left-flank will pose a huge threat to opposition defenders. He is also capable of whipping in excellent crosses for the likes of Romelu Lukaku and co.
This one’s more of an outside option. The Spanish Champions have just sold Lucas Digne to Everton and they could need a back-up for Jordi Alba.

It will be difficult for the Spanish defender to carry the sole responsibility on his own. Hence, Valverde must make a move for Rose and ensure his defensive department is well-stocked. The La Liga champions should aim for a repeat performance after an impressive domestic campaign last time out.
