Three ideal Premier League destinations for Croatian midfield sensation Ivan Perisic

Manchester United have been targeting Croatian World Cup runner-up Ivan Perisic and are keeping close tabs on the player. The Red Devils are in the market to sign a winger who can supplement Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, and Perisic is potentially deemed to be the perfect fit.

The 29-year-old Inter Milan winger had a fantastic World Cup campaign which has further enhanced his stock this summer. Jose Mourinho must acquire his services before other potential suitors join the race. Playing in the English top-flight is no joke and the opportunity to do so must seem tantalizing for Perisic.

Here are three ideal Premier League destinations for the player, if he decides to leave Italy.

Manchester United

As mentioned above, United have been lining up the Croat but they would have to pay a high amount to get him. That said, a player like Perisic could work wonders for Mourinho since he is deadly at delivering crosses and can aid the defenders as well. With Gareth Bale more likely to stay at Real Madrid, it is up to the Red Devils to step up their interest and sign Perisic.

In fact, the 29-year-old might just be the missing piece for United in the forward line jigsaw and his presence could help the Red Devils win the Premier League next season.

Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are in dire need of another wide player since Heung-Min Son is likely to miss the early part of next season. In Perisic, they will get a versatile winger who can play on either side and be influential with his devilish crossing. He is a willing runner and can fit into Mauricio Pochettino‘s high-intensity system.

If Tottenham want a quality forward, they must go for the Croat and enhance their quality in the front-line.

Chelsea

Chelsea are in quite a predicament regarding the Eden Hazard situation. Provided the Belgian eventually leaves Stamford Bridge, the Blues must target Perisic as his replacement. The latter is a game-changer who will bring in an extra bit of spice and work-rate to the forward line.

For the player too, it will be a great opportunity to be a part of something special under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
