Everton are in for a summer revamp under new manager Marco Silva. It won’t be a bad idea for the Portuguese to take a look at his current squad and bring in some players to bolster his cavalry. He did a fantastic job at Watford, with some good players shining under his management.
Perusing the Hornets’ squad, there are talents which might help Everton in their bid to get back to where they belong in the Premier League. Silva must work towards planning a long-term project at Goodison Park, and to that end, it will be a good move to sign some players from his former club.
Here’s the list of three players Silva must sign to bolster the Toffees’ squad:
The Frenchman has grown as a player, especially in the last 12 months or so. He has the ability to dominate games in the midfield with his striding runs on the ball. He is also diligent enough to cover defensive work and Silva is in dire need of a player of his stature and physical dominance in Everton.
The Toffees need a solid box-to-box midfielder who can help in all areas of the pitch. Doucoure can fit that bill perfectly and establish himself an integral part of the Evertonian renaissance.
Richarlison was one of the breakouts stars for Watford last season. Although the Brazilian’s performances faded in January, he is still a potent threat with pace, directness and dribbling skills. He was a key player till Silva was present at Vicarage Road. Hence, he might be tempted to work with his former boss and get back to his best by delivering for Everton.
For the player as well, it will be a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most historic clubs in the English top-flight.

Everton do need a centre-back since Ashley Williams and Phil Jagielka are destined to go further down the pecking order. Kabasele has the required attributes to be a defensive beast for the Toffees. The Belgian has the aerial presence and physical dominance to shrug off centre-forwards with ease. Furthermore, he doesn’t shy away from tackles, which the Everton faithful would love to see on a regular basis.
