Through My Window: Across the Sea is the second part of a story that began in 2022 called Through My Window on Netflix. This sequel follows the characters Ares and Raquel as they deal with the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship. Ares is studying medicine in Stockholm while Raquel stays behind.
When they finally get together for a short vacation in the summer, they have to confront their insecurities, deal with rumors, and work on rebuilding their trust in each other.

Through My Window: What happened in the first part?
They face challenges as they struggle to balance their busy lives and maintain a strong connection through phone calls and messages. Raquel receives positive feedback on her manuscript, Through My Window, and is encouraged to send it to a publisher.
During the summer, Ares surprises Raquel with a weekend vacation, but their happiness is disrupted by the arrival of Raquel’s friends, Yoshi and Daniela, who are skeptical of Ares. Daniela has a personal connection with Ares’ brother, Apolo, and there are secrets within Ares’ family, including his brother Artemis’ hidden relationship with Claudia, a house help.
Ares and Raquel try to rebuild their relationship during their time together, but their trust is tested when Ares discovers Gregory, one of Raquel’s classmates, flirting with her. Ares also learns that Raquel has kept the manuscript a secret from him. A day on a yacht brings unexpected encounters with Vera, Ares’ classmate from Stockholm, which further complicates things.
Insecurities arise as Daniela sends Raquel a picture of Vera wearing one of Ares’ shirts. Despite Raquel’s efforts to trust Ares, her insecurities grow, and she hesitates to send her manuscript to the publisher. Ultimately, Ares and Raquel must confront their insecurities, face the truth, and decide if their love can withstand the challenges they face.
Is something brewing between Ares and Vera
At the end of Through My Window: Across the Sea, Raquel confronts Ares about the shirt situation during a game of Spin the Bottle. Ares and Vera are asked about it, and Vera remains silent while Ares tries to explain the situation privately.
Ares confesses that he was struggling to handle everything in Stockholm and that Vera had been there for him. He admits that he had a night when he got drunk and the next thing he remembers is waking up next to Vera, who was wearing his shirt. He insists that he doesn’t remember anything that happened between them and apologizes for his mistake.
Raquel becomes extremely angry and upset upon hearing this revelation and decides to leave the scene.
Through My Window: Across the Sea ending explained
Artemis, Ares’ brother, has a complicated relationship with Claudia, who works as a housemaid. He struggles to publicly acknowledge their romantic relationship due to her position in the household. This causes frustration and sadness for Claudia, who desires to be recognized as his girlfriend.
Artemis feels pressured when his parents are present, and he fails to find the courage to accept Claudia openly. His behavior towards her changes when he sees her talking to another man, leading him to treat her poorly. The situation worsens when Claudia misbehaves in front of Artemis’ mother, and he decides to fire her from her job.
At a party, Artemis discovers that the man he thought Claudia was involved with is actually married to her friend. Realizing his mistake, he tries to apologize to Claudia, but she rejects him and asks him to leave.
Overall, Artemis struggles with his feelings for Claudia and his inability to publicly accept their relationship causes tension and ultimately leads to their separation.
What’s happening with Yoshi?
At Yoshi’s funeral, Raquel is deeply upset and blames Ares for not being able to save Yoshi. Ares retaliates by accusing Raquel of leaving him alone to be with Gregory. However, there is a positive development when Artemis openly displays affection for Claudia in front of their parents, despite their initial shock.
After the funeral, Ares returns to Stockholm and realizes the importance of focusing on his medical career. He attempts to text Raquel but hesitates and fails to send the message. Meanwhile, Vera tries to reach out to Ares, but he ignores her.
