New Arsenal boss Unai Emery is set to start his first campaign as a manager in English football. The Spaniard must his squad in the right shape ahead of the new season. With the signings the Gunners have made, it will help him shape them into a competitive team capable of challenging for silverware.
However, there are some players Emery must aspire to offload before the beginning of the new season. Here’s a list of three players the Gunners should sell before the inception of a brand new Premier League campaign:
Since joining Arsenal in 2011, Jenkinson hasn’t been able to lodge regular games under his belt at the Emirates. Constant injury issues have somewhat deterred his progress. The Gunners should offload him, as they already have Hector Bellerin and Stephan Lichtsteiner in their ranks. By doing so, they will receive some money to possibly spend elsewhere in the market.
Iwobi was an Arsenal academy graduate and he came through the ranks quite well. However, the Nigerian struggled to take make an impact in the first-team. He was constantly backed by former boss Arsene Wenger but the 22-year-old always delivered highly inconsistent and frustrating displays.
Iwobi could have become one of the main men for the Gunners, but that perception has completely changed as of now. With Emery endeavouring to build a new era, he should not retain a player he cannot depend on.
Iwobi is still a massive prospect who has the potential to become a force to reckon with. But perhaps moving to another club might benefit him in the near future.

Arsenal have signed Bernd Leno this summer and Petr Cech might stay at the club to impart his experience and wisdom. For that reason, it does not make sense for Ospina to stay back with the North London outfit. The Colombian still has the prospect to excel in another club instead of staying on the fringes for the Gunners.
He is only 29, making him a decent prospect. Furthermore, selling him now would generate funds which can be utilized to purchase other players.
