Kim Joo-Hyung aka Tom Kim is a South Korean golfing sensation. He has won twice on the PGA tour, twice on the Asian tour, and won twice on the Korean Tour. But the best part is that he is only 20 years old.
Kim was based in Australia, the Philippines and later Thailand for several years. In 2018 he won the Philippine Amateur Open Championship and the W Express RVF Cup Amateur Championship.
He turned professional in May 2018 and played on the Philippine Golf Tour. On 7 July 2018, he earned his first professional title at ICTSI Pueblo De Oro Championship on the Philippine Golf Tour. The following year (2019), he won several titles including the PGM ADT Championship, Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament, and Raya Pakistan Open on the Asian Development Tour.
On 12 July 2020, Kim won the KPGA Gunsan CC Open on the Korean Tour, and on 13 June 2021, he won the SK Telecom Open on the same golf tour. He also won the 2021 Korean Tour Order of Merit. In early 2022, he won his second Asian Tour title at the Singapore International after a playoff victory over Rattanon Wannasrichan of Thailand.
