Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann is known to have a few celebrations which are unique.

While the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and others have one signature celebration, Griezmann likes to experiment.

The Frenchman has tried his luck with many styles during his time with Atletico Madrid and here are the top 3 Antoine Griezmann celebrations from his playing days:

1) Call Me

A few years ago, the music video of the Drake song, Hotline Bling, went viral. There was actually a move that the rapper did where he used his hands as if they were phones. It seems

“The celebration is a dance from Drake’s music video ‘Hotline Bling’,” the Barcelona forward was quoted by the Mirror.

“I started doing it at Atletico, and then I couldn’t do it against Albania because the emotion was too strong, same for the first goal against Ireland, then I remembered it, and just did it.”

Since then, the celebration has become a very popular move. It has also been featured in several FIFA games as his signature and a special celebration.

2) Salsa

Another popular celebration of Griezmann was the salsa.

The Frenchman would hold out his arms in such a manner as if he was imitating a salsa pose. He would then proceed to dance around and wring his hands, mimicking the dance.

3) The L

Antoine Griezmann’s latest celebration was the ‘L’ which he started since the World Cup. This move was actually popularised by the online videogame, Fortnite.

The L, also known as the ‘Loser’ was normally displayed as one of the victory dances/poses in that game.

The move involves swinging your legs side-to-side while holding one arm at head height and making the letter ‘L’ with the index finger and the thumb.

The game is a big hit with footballers, with plenty of the England squad known to be big fans.

However, it did cause some controversy for poor old Griezmann. The Frenchman was accused of disrespecting Croatia after celebrating his goal with a ‘Take the L’ during the World Cup final.
