5. Big Show
Many people don’t know that behind the scenes, Paul Heyman was always one of the greatest admirers of Big Show. However, when Big Show first made his debut, he didn’t live up to the expectations and was sent back to OVW to improve his condition.
When he returned to the main roster, Show was traded to SmackDown in October 2002. Heyman was the Show’s head written at that time and convinced Vince McMahon to give the former World Heavyweight Champion a push.
At Survivor Series 2002, Heyman aligned with Big Show and turned against Brock Lesnar to hand the Beast his first pinfall loss in WWE. Their pairing was a big hit as their off-screen chemistry was transferred to television.
